Together with his good-old friend Agustin Edwards Eastman, Mr. Rockefeller takes a quick vacation almost every year in the south of Chile. Both are well known for working with the CIA during the 1973 coup against Salvador Allende and manipulating public opinion through a newspaper called "El Mercurio". Edwards is also known for being a descendant of (chilean elitist) Agustín Edwards McClure, who served as President of the League of Nations from 1922-23.

  • So who exactly is Agustin Edwards Eastman? Not much I can find on him except he's part of a chilean business dynasty and they own a newspaper El Murcurio, anything else? Cant find much

  • @NazcarFanatic24 His family had mining deals with the Rockefellers in Chile. His sister was even going to marry one of the Rothschilds. Agustin Edwards played a key role with Kissinger's 40 Committee and the CIA to overthrow president Salvador Allende in 1973. Edwards part of the Chilean elite, together with Matte (also with Rothschild business connections), Luksic (member of the Trilateral Commission), and others. He's also part of Rockefeller's Council of the Americas.
